Role Description: The Senior Sales Executive will spearhead new business initiatives, leveraging proactive relationship-building strategies to engage key decision-makers within the European energy trading landscape.
This role demands a results-oriented approach to promoting and demonstrating the competitive advantages of our clients cutting-edge ETRM software solution. Additionally, the successful candidate must be comfortable leading the entire sales process and working closely with pre-sales teams, professional services, and partners.
This entails guiding prospects from initial engagement through to successful implementation and ongoing support. The ideal candidate will exhibit comfort and proficiency in orchestrating collaborative efforts across these multifaceted teams, ensuring seamless alignment and delivery of value to our clients. With a strategic market position, our company is poised to rival competitors of all scales and price points.
- Cultivate and maintain a robust sales pipeline, driving software sales revenue growth.
- Forge strong relationships with key stakeholders in the European energy trading sector.
- Lead sales and marketing initiatives across the European market, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of regional dynamics.
- Expertly handle Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring timely and compelling responses.
- Collaborate effectively with pre-sales teams, professional services, and partners throughout the sales process, ensuring seamless alignment and delivery of value to clients.
- Meet or exceed ambitious first-year sales targets, with a focus on achieving a revenue milestone of £750k.
- Demonstrated success in software sales, with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
- Comprehensive understanding of energy trading and risk management principles.
- Established network of relationships with ETRM decision-makers within European energy markets.
- Proficiency in orchestrating sales and marketing campaigns across diverse European territories.
- Strong aptitude for crafting compelling responses to RFIs and RFPs.
- Ability to meet or surpass a first-year revenue target of £750k.
- Competitive salary range of £90-110k, commensurate with experience.
- First-year On-Target Earnings (OTE) of £200k+.
