Business Analyst (Endur Integration Projects)

Position: Business Analyst (BA)
Duration: 6 months

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team for a six-month project focused on implementing and integrating various Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems, with a primary emphasis on Endur. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in Endur integration projects, a solid understanding of gas and power trading, and expertise in front to back office operations. Additionally, proficiency in SQL and data analytics is required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for Endur integration and implementation projects.
    • Analyze and translate business needs into technical requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

  2. Endur Integration Projects:

    • Utilize expertise in Endur to facilitate seamless integration with other ETRM systems and trading platforms.
    • Work closely with technical teams to ensure the successful implementation of Endur enhancements and configurations.

  3. Front to Back Office Understanding:

    • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of front to back office operations within energy trading, including trade lifecycle management, risk analysis, and settlement processes.

  4. Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Utilize SQL and data analytics tools to extract, manipulate, and analyze trading data for reporting and decision-making purposes.
    • Generate insights from trading data to support business strategies and optimize trading performance.

  5. Stakeholder Management:

    • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
    • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, issues, and risks.

  6. Documentation and Process Improvement:

    • Document business processes, system configurations, and user guides to ensure knowledge transfer and support ongoing operations.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the trading and risk management functions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Endur integration projects or similar ETRM implementations.
  • Strong understanding of gas and power trading, including industry practices, regulations, and trading strategies.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Experience with data analytics tools and techniques for generating insights from trading data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote/home-based environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. Additional certifications in Business Analysis or Energy Trading would be advantageous.
