Job Title: Senior Consultant/Manager - Energy Trading & Risk - GERMAN SPEAKING

Locations: Munich, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Mannheim, Zurich

Role Overview: As a Senior Consultant/Manager, you will be responsible for leading challenging projects in close collaboration with clients. You will contribute to the development of the product portfolio, engage in project-independent activities, and support business development efforts. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members and work closely with senior stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Strong academic background in economics, engineering, natural sciences, or mathematics
• Three to five years of professional experience in energy economics and consulting/project work
• Experience with energy trading and risk management systems, including front to back office trading, risk, finance, and shipping
• Good understanding of power, gas, and/or oil physical trading
• Ideally experienced working on cloud and data engineering
• Comfortable solving functional challenges in energy trading and risk management processes
• Ability to gather high spec requirements and work with senior stakeholders and managers
• Ability to run small teams and projects preferred but not essential
• Fluent in German and English, with a preference for candidates fluent in both languages
• Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills, ideally combined with data analysis skills (e.g., R)
