Commoditas is partnering with one of the biggest growing international energy traders based in central London.

This critical role involves maintaining and protecting the production environment of their advanced energy trading and risk systems, including Openlink Endur, EOS, Credit Cube, and Datagenic.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional support for IT-managed applications to investigate and resolve production issues.
• Log and manage incidents through to resolution, ensuring proactive communication and regular reporting to end users.
• Escalate issues to third-line support (internal and external) and ensure their resolution.
• Understand and meet the service level agreements (SLAs) for each system.
• Manage releases and changes, ensuring they are documented and have sufficient rollback plans.
• Develop infrastructure, processes, and procedures to enhance production support quality.
• Ensure new software support is clearly defined and adequately handed over from delivery projects.
• Develop and maintain documentation for resolving key software issues, refining it continuously as the product integrates into production use.
• Manage end-of-day application processes.
• Enter approved master data into systems for specific applications, following business approval.
• Provide support for disaster recovery environment failover when required.

Skills, Experience, & Competencies

• Knowledge of ETRM systems, ideally including Openlink Endur, and/or Planlogic EoS.
• Understanding of core physical energy trading processes (Power, Gas, LNG or Oil)
• Good SQL
• Demonstrated ability to work within a team and drive improvements.
• Adaptability to manage changing business priorities, set realistic expectations, and deliver on them.
